First performers for the 2020 'Latin Grammys'

The last Latin award show for 2020, "Latin Grammy Awards," has it's first artists to perform Thursday, Nov. 19. This year, the award show hosted by Carlos Rivera and Roselyn Sánchez, will be filmed in Miami, Florida and televised Thursday, Nov. 19.

Thus far in the line up are Bad Bunny, Pedro Capó, Alejandro Fernández, Karol G, Kany García, Los Tigres del Norte, Christian Nodal, Nathy Peluso and Fito Páez. Marc Anthony, the Latin Recording Academy's 2016 Person Of The Year, will also perform.

With the theme Music Makes Us Human, the reimagined telecast will be anchored from Miami, featuring artist performances from multiple cities around the world. The show will be a celebration of musical excellence and the power of music to bring us together, through diverse stories of hope, community and a renewed sense of purpose.

Due to the challenges imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the 21st annual "Latin Grammy Awards" will not have a live audience or a red carpet. The Latin Recording Academy, Univision and its production teams will adhere to strictest safety guidelines and protocols.

The award show will air on Univision on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. CT). The broadcast will also air on TNT (cable) at 19.00 (MEX)/20.00 (COL)/22.00 (ARG/CHI), and on Televisa Channel 5.

It was somewhat a somber festive "Billboard Latin Music Awards" this year. Following CDC regulations, the 2020 music award show went on although a few months later and back in Florida.

Here is a review in photos of a few of the performances.

The 2020 'Billboard Latin Music Awards' winners are

The 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards” came and left at a wink of an eye. The three hour award show was held at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida with a limited audience and precautions.


This year it was two Puerto Ricans from the island that left with the most Billboard award statues. The one and only 'founder' and 'believer' of reggaeton Daddy Yankee. Of his 12 nominations, he was awarded seven which included the Billboard Latin Song of the Decade Award for “Despacito” alongside Luis Fonsi. Bad Bunny, the urban sensation for the past few years who was one of the top nominees also garnered seven awards of his 14 nominations.

Fotos de los ensayos de los 'Premios Billboard de la Música Latina' 2020

Solamente faltan dos meses y media para cerrar el año covid-19, y ya otra premiación está llevando a cabo ensayos esta semana.  Los ensayos para los “Premios Billboard de la Música Latina” 2020 ya van en viento en popa en el BB&T Center en Sunrise, Florida.

Paulina Rubio, Luis Fonsi, Raymix, Tempo, Jay Wheeler, Yandel, El Alfa y Carlos Vives son los primeros artistas que han ensayado para su presentación en vivo que tendrá lugar este miércoles 21 de octubre durante los “Premios Billboard de la Música Latina.”  La premiación de mayor trayectoria y prestigio en la industria de la música latina se transmitirá en vivo por Telemundo, comenzando a las 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT con “La Alfombra de Premios Billboard”, y seguido a las 8 p.m./7 CT con la gala de premiación.

Los Premios Billboard de la Música Latina” también se emitirán simultáneamente en el canal de cable hispano de entretenimiento, Universo y a través de las Américas por Telemundo Internacional.
