Weather doesn't stop Marc Anthony fans during Legacy Tour in Orlando

Nothing stops salseros and less Marc Anthony fans from partying. On a rainy and cold day in which Floridians are not accustomed to the latter, fans managed to fill up Amway Center in Orlando for another unforgettable evening with the one and only Marc Anthony, his amazing band and the hilarious comedian Joey Vega.

The renowned salsero kicked off his Legacy tour in 2018 but Central Florida wasn’t included which left many fans questioning as to why. But it would be impossible for Marc not to perform in Orlando where he's had consistent sold out concerts, a huge fan base especially Puerto Ricans and after his historical and emotional 2017 tribute to Puerto Rico singing “Preciosa” for the first time ever at Amway Center. Of course, he’d return to Orlando for the second leg of his Legacy Tour. It was a great way to start off 2019 with Marc Anthony.

The stage setting was different. A stage curtain was in place displaying the artist and his tour name. Comedian Joey Vega stepped out to bring laughter and flashbacks of being a Latino for about an hour. And just before 10 p.m. the music started playing Marc Anthony song clips that also included his collaborations just before the stage curtain was raised for the band and Marc Anthony to be exposed. Thankfully he put to rest his jeans. He looked classier, sharper and handsome performing in a suit tailored by Sew On Set Tailor.

Close to two hours of singing and dancing with the top salsa artist there has been for years. This time “Aguanile” wasn’t the opening number, instead it was “Valio La Pena. Inclusive “Flor Pálida,” “Vivir Lo Nuestro” “Hasta Que Te Conocí,” a medley of classics, among other hits from the beginning of Marc’s Spanish crossover to present. But Marc Anthony regular concert attendees know his concert isn’t over until he sings “Vivir Mi Vida.”

A flirty and witty Marc Anthony that made sure everyone saw him by covering every angle of the stage, showing his gratitude of his fan’s unconditional support and not to mention his pride of being Puerto Rican. “Bendición papi,” he said to his dad that was in the audience as he sang “Hasta Que Te Conocí.” He even accepted a few drinks from fans. Oh, and Marc will definitely call you out because he wants you to dance. What is a Marc Anthony concert if you don't sing and dance?

From the band to the backup singers, they were all on point adding to another phenomenal Marc Anthony concert for the books. Once again Marc Anthony depicts exactly his tour title - LEGACY!

Marc Anthony’s Legacy Tour continues until February 23. For tour information click here.
