Univision Network’s summer Latin music award show, “Premios Juventud” (Youth Award), returns for its 14th year. The popular award show which is televised live from Coral Gables, Florida usually awards the most popular in music, pop culture, acting, and Spanish soap operas but this year it will focus more on music.
“Premios Juventud” theme this year, Betting on the Future, will celebrate fans’ favorite music, stars, and young individuals that have an impact in our community. In addition to awards in new categories - Best Song for Singing, Best Fashionista, Best Song for Dancing, Best Instagram, and Breakthrough Artist - the program will recognize young Latinos who have made a difference on issues that matter the most to millennials, from education to social inclusion to climate change.
Fans in the United States (Puerto Rico not included) and District of Columbia can vote for their favorites in each category on PremiosJuventud.com/Vota from now until June 1, 2017 at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT. Winners will be announced during the “Premios Juventud” live broadcast starting at 7 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT on Thursday, July 6.
