Bad Bunny returns in 2019 with another tour

Grammy-nominated Puerto Rican Latin trap and reggaeton superstar Bad Bunny is ready for his second round tour and I bet his fans are more than ready. It's nearly a month he closed out his La Nueva Religión tour in the USA successfully and is hyped to kick off 2019 with another tour.

The month-long tour in the US, Bad Bunny Live, promoted by Cardenas Marketing Network (CMN), kicks off on March 14, 2019 at Santander Arena in Reading, PA and includes a return concert date at Orlando’s Amway Center Thursday, April 11, 2019. 

Bad Bunny has become one of the biggest stars in recent Latin music history, despite not having ever released an album. His continuous stream of singles has produced 31 entries on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart since 2016 and most recently, his number one single, “Te Bote,” spent 11 weeks on the Billboard Latin chart alongside Casper Magico, Nio Garcia, Darell, Nicky Jam, and Ozuna. Additionally, the popularity of his first number one hit, “I Like It” with Cardi B and J Balvin, also garnered Bad Bunny significant crossover success during his first North American trek. The success of his La Nueva Religión tour catapulted the tour to number five on Billboard’s 2018 Hot Tours list.

Bad Bunny is most recognized for his explosive and infectious trap songs. His overwhelming talent, influence and demand has led to sold out shows throughout the USA, Latin America and Europe. His distinct voice and rhythm have contributed to him amassing a collection of collaborations with superstars including Drake (“MIA”); Marc Anthony and Will Smith (“Esta Rico”); Becky G (“Mayores”); Karol G and Quavo (“Ahora Me Llama”); Farruko, Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott and Rvssian (“Krippy Kush”); and J. Lo (“Te Guste”). Bad Bunny has been nominated for an iHeart Radio Music Award, a Music Television (MTV) Video Music Award (VMA), Latin American Music Award (LAMA), Latin Grammy and E! People Choice Award.

Para los gustos nacieron los colores, así es mi gente. El artista boricua de la música trap del momento y de gira por primera vez con apenas dos años dándose conocer en el mercado de la música urbana y sin un álbum grabado, Bad Bunny (Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio) dio un exitoso concierto en el Amway Center en la Florida central dándole el fin a la primera etapa de su gira La Nueva Religión. Menos mal que no llego tarde para empezar su presentación que comenzó alrededor de las 9:15 de la noche.

But it didn't matter to Bad Bunny's fans how late he would have started and or how many opening acts were scheduled to perform. From start to finish, it was non-stop singing for about two hours that included his hit singles and remixes - "Tu No Metes Cabra," "Amorforda," "Chambea," "Me Acostumbre," "Vuelve," "Te Bote," "Dura," "Mayores" just to name a few. Of course there were some breaks in between for Bunny to express his gratitud for the unconditional support and for special guests to join him on stage.

Billboard Latin Music Conference informed, educated, and entertained

The 28th annual Billboard Latin Music Conference held last week in Miami, Fla. attracted hundreds of aspiring music artists. The three-day conference, which combined education and entertainment, provided pertinent information to its attendees.

The informational panel and Q & A sessions held at the Ritz Carlton in South Beach featured important guest speakers and artists from the Latin music industry. This year’s conference consisted of many topics of interest that included:

• Pop + Urban = The Perfect Marriage
• The Latin Music Streaming Explosion
• The Marketing Exchange
• Power Players
• I Want to be No. 1
• The Latin Trap 

In addition, a few Latin music artists also collaborated in the Billboard Latin Music Conference. Colombian artist Maluma shared his social media pointers in Socializing Maluma. Becky G and Jackie Cruz played key roles during the Latinx Activism session, and Billboard selected Residente and Miguel Bose for its popular Q & A sessions respectively. The most interesting session was the Billboard Superstar Mano a Mano that featured top urban artists Nicky Jam and J Balvin.

It was clear as water, that this year's music conference emphasis was on urban, reggaeton, and pop genres. The three genres are currently dominating Latin radio and Billboard charts. Also to mention, Latin trap is making its move into the Latin music industry.

Another key factor during the conference was collaborations. Artists were advised how significant it is today to go outside their comfort zones by collaborating in one of the mentioned genres especially reggaeton.

Each evening concluded with entertainment that included Nicky Jam and ChoQuibTown as the headliners for Pandora’s Noche de Música, and Billboard’s showcase consisted of performances by Bulka, Casilda, Railrod, Bianca, Juank Indigo, and Jeloz. Lastly, Los 4 closed out the 2017 Billboard Latin Music Conference.
