Después de anunciar recientemente su muy esperado sencillo "Héroe Favorito", Romeo Santos se ha asociado con SpanishBroadcasting System, Inc. (SBS) para ofrecer una serie de conciertos íntimos y exclusivos en Nueva York, Miami y Los Ángeles. Las únicas oportunidades para presenciar la actuación del rey de la bachata serán el 16 de junio en el PlayStation Theater, Nueva York; el 19 de junio en el Olympia Theater de Miami; y el 21 de junio en el Wiltern Theater de Los Ángeles, California.

El compositor y productor galardonado con varios premios, quien fue finalista del recién Premios Billboard de La Música Latina, se presentará solamente en tres conciertos íntimos en todo el país, ofrecidos exclusivamente a los usuarios del App LaMusica.

Billboard Latin Music Conference informed, educated, and entertained

The 28th annual Billboard Latin Music Conference held last week in Miami, Fla. attracted hundreds of aspiring music artists. The three-day conference, which combined education and entertainment, provided pertinent information to its attendees.

The informational panel and Q & A sessions held at the Ritz Carlton in South Beach featured important guest speakers and artists from the Latin music industry. This year’s conference consisted of many topics of interest that included:

• Pop + Urban = The Perfect Marriage
• The Latin Music Streaming Explosion
• The Marketing Exchange
• Power Players
• I Want to be No. 1
• The Latin Trap 

In addition, a few Latin music artists also collaborated in the Billboard Latin Music Conference. Colombian artist Maluma shared his social media pointers in Socializing Maluma. Becky G and Jackie Cruz played key roles during the Latinx Activism session, and Billboard selected Residente and Miguel Bose for its popular Q & A sessions respectively. The most interesting session was the Billboard Superstar Mano a Mano that featured top urban artists Nicky Jam and J Balvin.

It was clear as water, that this year's music conference emphasis was on urban, reggaeton, and pop genres. The three genres are currently dominating Latin radio and Billboard charts. Also to mention, Latin trap is making its move into the Latin music industry.

Another key factor during the conference was collaborations. Artists were advised how significant it is today to go outside their comfort zones by collaborating in one of the mentioned genres especially reggaeton.

Each evening concluded with entertainment that included Nicky Jam and ChoQuibTown as the headliners for Pandora’s Noche de Música, and Billboard’s showcase consisted of performances by Bulka, Casilda, Railrod, Bianca, Juank Indigo, and Jeloz. Lastly, Los 4 closed out the 2017 Billboard Latin Music Conference.

Marc Anthony unites fans across the miles

Fan clubs have been taken over by social media especially Facebook. Fan clubs have united many fans all over the world. In this case, a popular salsa artist has united many with his voice, music and fan clubs.

Marc Anthony has been singing for 21 plus years and many have followed him for that long and some even when he was singing in English before his crossover in the 1990s. His former fan clubs - La Familia and MAC (Marc Anthony Club) were an integral part of Marc fans. There were contests - meet and greets, photo opportunities, presale ticket purchases (fans had great seats for a reasonable price, now fans are not as fortunate)... close encounters with Marc, opportunities to attend special Marc events but things have changed. The love for Marc was shared via his former fan club forums with concert photos, meet and greets, great recaps of concerts, fans uniting... But within time, the fan clubs disintegrated. There was no 'playground' for Marc fans to share their love for him. There is Marc Anthony Online but...

Then came MySpace and currently Facebook (but they don't measure up to our former fan clubs) where some fans have managed to find each other once again to continue and share their love and support for their querido flaco. Some have been lucky to meet each other.

I have been fortunate to meet many from Miami, New York, Ohio, California and even Japan. On my recent trip to California I had the pleasure of meeting Arlene Castilla and reunited with Wanda Perez. I had met Wanda during our MAC glory days - we were fortunate winners of the fan clubs meet and greet contest for Orlando, Fla. and yes, she traveled from CA to Orlando.

As for Arlene we had not met yet, but we shared many special Marc moments on MAC and now Facebook, emails and even phone calls (we would call each other during a Marc concert too, many did and still do). We had a special friendship bond and finally were able to meet. Although our former fan clubs don't exist, the Marc Anthony bond forever lives. And some day, some how we hope to share with Marc Anthony personally our love for him, his music (front row seats) and tell him how he has been an integral part of many of his fan's lives like the good old days.

Furthermore, I/we look forward to some day reuniting with La Familia and MAC for a Marc Anthony intimate concert somewhere, oh yes and take photos once again with our favorite salsero.
