A total of 24 entertainment professionals will join the Hollywood Walk of Fame with their own star along Hollywood Boulevard or Vine Street in Los Angeles, California. They represent motion pictures, television, live theatre/live performance, and recording.
The elected recipients were chosen among hundreds of nominations. The key factors in receiving a star are professional achievement, longevity in the category of five years or more, contributions to the community and the celebrity to commit in attending the dedication ceremony if selected. Posthumous awards require a five-year waiting period.
There are a total of 2743 Walk of Fame Stars. Singer Billy Joel was the most recent honoree, the ceremony took place on January 5, 2023.
