Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio reconocido mundialmente como Bad Bunny y el más hablado últimamente sera honrado con el Premio Billboard Artista del Siglo 21 durante los Premios Billboard de la Música Latina 2025. La superestrella recibirá este reconocimiento especial durante la transmisión en vivo el 23 de octubre a las 8 pm/7c desde el James L. Knight Center en Miami.
El galardón se le otorga a Bad Bunny en base a su extraordinario desempeño en las listas Top Latin Albums y Hot Latin Songs de Billboard durante los primeros 25 años del siglo. Desde múltiples canciones debutando simultáneamente en los primeros puestos hasta lanzamientos de álbumes que marcaron el centro de la conversación global, su desempeño en las listas estableció un nuevo estándar para la música latina.
Más allá de los listados, Bad Bunny ha redefinido las posibilidades de la música latina en el siglo 21, rompiendo récords que transformaron la industria. Nombrado el artista más escuchado en Spotify a nivel mundial durante tres años consecutivos, también ostenta el récord de la gira con mayor recaudación en un solo año.
Fue el primer artista de habla hispana en encabezar Coachella, y la transmisión global de su último concierto de residencia en Puerto Rico, No me quiero ir de aquí, se convirtió en la presentación de un solo artista más vista en la historia de Amazon Music.

The global superstar Laura Pausini will be recognized this year with the Billboard Icon Award. The Italian born artist will also perform at the 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards, cementing her place as one of the most influential artists of all time.
With over 75 million albums sold, six billion digital streams, and a career spanning over 30 years, Laura Pausini is the most universal Italian voice and an undisputed icon of global pop. Some of her recent achievements include her first and only Billboard Hot 100 chart entry in November 2024 with her hit single "Se Fue" featuring Rauw Alejandro. Additionally, in 2023 she was honored by the Latin Recording Academy as "Person of the Year," the first Italian singer to receive such an honor. Pausini recently released her new single, "Mi Historia Entre Tus Dedos," from her upcoming album Yo Canto 2, and announced her world tour for 2026.
"What excites me most is that this recognition comes just in the year in which, before knowing I would receive it, I had already decided to release a tribute album to the great singer-songwriters of Spain and Latin America. She has also received a Golden Globe, Oscar and Emmy nominations, and has taken her music to the world's most prestigious stages, becoming the first Italian artist to perform at Radio City Music Hall and Madison Square Garden in New York, as well as at the Royal Albert Hall in London and the Olympia in Paris.

The Billboard Latin Music Awards will broadcast live on Telemundo Thursday, October 23 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT from the James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida. The event can also be viewed on the Telemundo app, the Peacock streaming service, and across 22 countries throughout Latin America and the Caribbean on Telemundo Internacional.

Telemundo y Billboard anunciaron los finalistas a Premios Billboard de la Música Latina 2025. La premiación de mayor trayectoria y prestigio en la música latina regresa el 23 de octubre a Miami, FL.
Los artistas con la mayoría de menciones son el astro puertorriqueño Bad Bunny quién liydera la lista con 27 menciones, estableciendo un récord histórico en la premiación. Le siguen el grupo de regional mexicano Fuerza Regida, con 15 menciones, y el icono puertorriqueño Rauw Alejandro, con 14.
La superestrella colombiana, Karol G, encabeza entre las mujeres con 10 menciones, las mismas que tiene la nueva sensación del regional mexicano Tito Double P. Le sigue por su primo, Peso Pluma, con nueve menciones.
La premiación de mayor trayectoria y prestigio en la industria de la música latina, producida por Telemundo y MBS Special Events, será transmitida en vivo por Telemundo el jueves, 23 de octubre a las 8pm/7c desde el James L. Knight Center en Miami, Florida. El espectáculo será emitido también en la aplicación de Telemundo, el servicio de streaming Peacock, y a través de Latinoamérica y el Caribe por Telemundo Internacional, llegando a millones de televidentes de habla hispana a través de más de 22 países.

The 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards' rehearsals have begun. Here is a sneak peak of a few artists that have rehearsed for the award show to be held this Thursday, October 5 at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida.

Despite some parts of Florida being visited by Hurricane Ian this week, Miami was lucky it wasn't directly in the path of Ian. Therefore, the 2022 “Billboard Latin Music Awards” is undergoing its rehearsals at the Watsco Center in Miami, Florida.
Ozuna, Chayanne, Tini, Manuel Turizo, Camilo, Grupo Firme, CNCO, Carlos Vives, Angeles Azules, Calibre 50, Raphael, Pablo Lopez, y Eslabón Armado are the first in rehearsing for the award show to air this Thursday, September 29 on Telemundo starting at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT. The Billboard Awards Carpet will take place at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT just before the award show.

La premiación coincide con la Semana de la Música Latina de Billboard, que regresa a Miami del 26 de septiembre al 1ro de octubre de 2022. La semana se celebra la música, la cultura y el entretenimiento latino con presentaciones exclusivas, conversaciones únicas, talleres, presentaciones, eventos y experiencias exclusivas para fans y futuros artistas. La superestrella del pop latino Chayanne, será honrado con el Premio Billboard ĺcono que conceden los “Premios Billboard de la Música Latina”. El reconocido artista también cantará durante la prestigiosa premiación, que se realizará el jueves 29 de septiembre y será transmitida en vivo por Telemundo, comenzando a las 7 p.m./6 centro desde el Watsco Center en Coral Gables, Florida. Chayanne además se presentará en la sesión de Preguntas y Respuestas Billboard ĺcono el 28 de septiembre durante la Semana de la Música Latina de Billboard para hablar de su carrera, su visión y futuros planes.
El Premio Billboard Ícono se le otorga a un artista cuya carrera no solamente ha permanecido relevante a lo largo del tiempo, sino que también se ha convertido en el artista más insigne de su género: el modelo a seguir y la cúpula tanto del éxito comercial como musical. Chayanne es un ícono de la balada romántica y del género pop en español en todo el mundo.
Los “Premios Billboard de la Música Latina” se emitirán simultáneamente en el canal de cable hispano de entretenimiento, Universo, el servicio de streaming Peacock, la aplicación de Telemundo, y a través de Latinoamérica y el Caribe por Telemundo Internacional.
La premiación coincide con la Semana de la Música Latina de Billboard, que regresa a Miami del 26 de septiembre al 1 de octubre de 2022, celebrando la música, la cultura y el entretenimiento latino durante toda la semana con presentaciones exclusivas, conversaciones únicas, talleres, presentaciones, eventos y experiencias exclusivas para fans y aspirantes en el mundo de la música.
