Aventura reunites for a 2020 tour - updated

The award-winning bachata superstars Aventura announced their first U.S. tour in over 10 years. As one of the most influential Latin groups of all time, Romeo Santos, Lenny Santos, Henry Santos and Max Agende Santos will bring their exhilarating bachata sound to seven cities in the New Year. Produced by Live Nation, the Inmortal tour will kick off February 5 in Los Angeles, CA and make stops in Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Boston, Washington D.C., New York among other cities.

Aventura’s last run of shows were a string of performances at the United Palace Theater in New York City in 2016. They recently reunited on stage at Romeo Santos’ history making Utopia concert at MetLife Stadium in September 2019. Earlier this year they released their first new single in 10 years, “Inmortal.” The single debuted at number five on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart and was just named Billboard’s Tropical Song of the Year, spending a record 18 weeks at #1 on the tropical chart. Their greatest hits album Lo Mejor De Aventura was also the #1 selling tropical album of 2019. In April of this year, Aventura won for Tropical Duo/Group of the Year at the Billboard Latin Music Awards.

Aventura broke into the mainstream with their 2002 hit "Obsesión (featuring Judy Santos)". The group was integral to the evolution of bachata music and are the pioneers of the modern bachata sound. Aventura released five studio albums in a decade, spawning top 10 hits including "Cuando Volverás", "Un Beso", "Mi Corazoncito", "Los Infieles", "El Perdedor","Por Un Segundo", "Dile Al Amor", among others. They have sold out arenas across the U.S. such as the world famous Madison Square Garden. Aventura has been nominated for awards including American Music Awards, the Latin Grammy Awards, Billboard Latin Music Awards, and Premio Lo Nuestro. They are one of the most internationally recognized Latin groups of the last two decades. In 2009, Aventura was the first bachata act to ever perform at the White House, for the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama.

Romeo Santos hace historia en el Metlife Stadium

La noche de ayer en el Metlife Stadium de New Jerseyquedó tatuada en el corazón de más 60 mil fanáticos que dijeron presente  en el histórico concierto ofrecido por el rey de la bachata Romeo Santos. Un total de 22 canciones para una presentación que duro cuatro horas junto a los invitados sorpresas, entre ellos los bachateros legendarios Raulin Rodriguez, El Chaval, Zacarias Ferreira, Joe Veras, Elvis Martinez, Frank Reyes, Luis Vargas y Kiko Rodriguez. Y representando las estrellas de la música urbana Ozuna  y Wisin & Yandel.

El momento épico de esta mágica noche fue el cierre cuando sus compañeros de Aventura, se unieron a Romeo para interpretar sus clásicos y su más reciente éxito “Inmortal”. Hasta sorprendieron a sus fanáticos al invitar a la rapera Cardi B a cantar junto a ellos. Fue una noche donde no solo Romeo Santos volvió a coronarse como el rey de la bachata sino donde también se coronó como un icono de la música latina. 

Santos también recibió en el día de ayer disco doble platino por las ventas de su álbum Utopía y un reconocimiento especial por Pandora. Y si fuera poco, Romeo Santos sobrepaso al grupo legendario de rock U2 convirtiendo su concierto en el de mayor recaudación en una noche. O sea un concierto vendido a su totalidad y el primer artista latino en lograrlo.

Juan Luis Guerra and 4.40 to conquer with a tour

“Quisiera ser un Pez”, “Niagra en Bicicleta”, “La Bilirubina,” are just a few classic hits for the pioneer artist of merengue and bachata Juan Luis Guerra. The Dominican artist and his band 4.40 will be on tour that kicks off Thursday, September 26 in Boston and includes a stop at Orlando’s Amway Center on Sunday, October 27.

“It is a great honor for us to collaborate and partner with globally-respected and beloved artist, Juan Luis Guerra,” said Loud and Live CEO Nelson Albareda. “We are also very excited for all of his fans to experience the music legend’s new music as well as his greatest hits,” added Albareda.

Guerra is one of the most internationally recognized Latin artists. He is most widely known for his style of merengue and Afro-Latin fusion, though he does not limit himself to one brand of music - he blends a variety of rhythms including merengue, bachata-fusion, balada, salsa, rock and roll and gospel. The revered artist of such popular classics such as,  “Ojalá que Llueva Café,” “Visa para un Sueño,” and “Las Avispas” to name a few, will perform his greatest hits and new songs, along with recently released, “Kitipun.” The infectious bachata is his first single in four years from his upcoming album due out later this year.

Prince Royce and Marc Anthony unite for their first single together 'Adicto'

Prince Royce has joined forces with none other than Marc Anthony to collaborate on his upcoming single, “Adicto,” marking it the first time mega-star Anthony ever records a bachata song. The single along with the video will be released Friday, November 16.

“I always dreamt of working with Marc. He is one of the most iconic Latin music figures in our industry and has one of the most powerful voices in any genre so recording a bachata song with him has been awesome and such an honor for me. I can’t wait for ‘Adicto’ to be released!” expressed Royce.

“Adicto” tells the story of a man who is addicted to women and turns to his only friend for advice. It was written by Prince Royce, Marc Anthony, Oscar Hernandez (Oscarcito), Patrick Ingunza and Jorge Luis Chacín and produced by D’lesly “Dice” Lora. It is Royce‘s follow-up bachata single after his smash hit “Deja Vu” which he recorded with another music great, Shakira. As for the video for “Adicto,” it was recently shot in Miami by renowned director Jessy Terrero, and produced by Cinema Giants.

Prince Royce continues to show his strength and versatility as an artist and performer in various genres. He has recently released several songs, including the pop single “Llegaste Tu” with CNCO; the R & B song “Quiero Saber” with Pitbull and Ludacris; and the urban/trap hit “Bubalu” with Becky G, Anuel AA, DJ Luian and Mambo Kingz.

Romeo Santos conquista a la bahia de Tampa

Después de tres años de no dar un concierto en Tampa, el reconocido artista dominicano estadounidense Romeo Santos regresó al Amalie Arena en la segunda parte de su gira Golden. Esta vez cantó sólo, o sea no hubo invitados para abrir su concierto.

Fue una apertura un poco diferente a lo acostumbrado en sus pasados conciertos. El 'rey' de la bachata llego sin trono al Amalie Arena donde se citaron sus fans a disfrutar de su música por casi dos horas.  Sin trono o no, Romeo causó tremenda euforia desde que arribó al escenario cantando hasta su despedida. "Tampaaa", gritó a todo pulmón antes de empezar a cantar.

En el escenario su coqueteria, sensualidad, humor, su interacción con sus fans era interminable. Hasta mueve su trasero mejor que yo. Es costumbre de hacer participe a su fans y en Tampa no fue la excepción. Aparte de tirar besos y tomar varios celulares para tomarse fotos o cantarle, Romeo  escogió a una afortunada fan para cantarle muy de cerca su tema "Un Beso". Y claro le dio su merecido besito. ¿Cuántas les hubiera encantado estar en sus zapatos?

En otra, el duelo de los hombres donde dos participantes cantaron "Bella y Sensual" - canción que Romeo grabó con los artistas urbanos puertorriqueños Nicky Jam y Daddy Yankee. Entre otros temas que variaron desde sus clásicos a sus más recientes temas - "Mi Corazoncito", "La Boda", "Ella y Yo", "Perjurio", "Sexo", "Por Un Segundo", y "Obsesión" para nombrar algunos.

Todos presentes pudieron presenciar a Romeo un poco más de cerca al cambiarse a otro escenario al mediado del local. The king of bachata, Romeo Santos, confirmed details for the second leg of his highly popular Golden tour, which wrapped up the first leg tour this past April. The newly announced fall run of dates, produced and co-promoted by Live Nation, will kick off September 15 in Las Vegas, NV. The 18-city U.S. outing will also make stops in several brand new cities previously not visited on the first leg of the tour. The second leg tour includes stops in Las Vegas, Seattle, Sacramento, Tampa and others, before wrapping it up October 21 in Dallas, TX.

The global superstar, singer, songwriter, mogul, actor, and producer rose from humble beginnings in Bronx, New York to worldwide renown over the course of his unbelievable career. The king of bachata fueled the success of Aventura as chief producer and songwriter before going solo. Romeo Santos reigns without his throne

The renowned American Dominican artist Romeo Santos returned to Amway Center in Orlando, FL for his Golden tour that kicked off February 13 in Mashantucket, CT. Although the concert was scheduled for 8 p.m. with additional acts before the bachata 'king', he still managed to start late his almost 2 hour PG performance. For those that live close to the venue have no worries versus those that live more than an hour away and have to work the next day. Maybe they wouldn't have mind if he brought along some popular artists or if the artists would have showed up unexpectedly but we are not as lucky as Miami.

It was a different stage set up. Santos actually walked out onto the stage. What happened to his throne? We have no idea but probably a majority didn't miss it as they were immediately mesmerized by his presence, his music, charisma, and interaction. Of course, there was lots of screaming especially during the bachateros sensual scenes. Not leaving anyone out, Santos flirted with the females but also the gents had their time as well during his singing battle of the males.

Oh, the spectacular lighting gave the concert an entire different feel. And to mention the second stage set up midway in the venue giving everyone a fair share view of Romeo Santos. He even invited a birthday gal on stage and another to join him during his usual sensual scene but this time without a bed.

 

He amazed his fans with a singing journey from his role as a lead singer with Aventura to his present hits.

Latin pop sensation and bachata superstar Romeo Santos has announced the full routing and ticket information after his tease on Instagram about his 2018 Golden Tour. The 18-date tour will cross North America kicking off February 15 in New York, NY and wrap in Oakland, CA on April 6. The tour will also make stops in Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, Orlando and other cities.

The tour is titled after Santos' latest studio album Golden, which was released earlier this year and earned the biggest sales week for a Latin studio album not only of 2017, but in over two years. The album also marks Santos' fourth No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums chart and his third top 10 on the Billboard 200.

Prince Royce Five Tour photos

The Latin prince of bachata, Prince Royce, kicked off 2017 with an exclusive solo tour featuring the latest Mexican American artist Luis Coronel as his opening act. Royce Five Tour which represented his fifth latest album released Five, took him to 21 different venues throughout the United States.

The tour closed out successfully in Florida with his last concerts in Orlando followed by Miami.
