iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina returns for its fifth year


The fifth annual mega-concert, iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina, will celebrate the best in Latin music Saturday, November 3 once again at AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami. This year the stellar artist line up so far includes Pitbull, Nicky Jam, Steve Aoki, Farruko, Nacho, and Becky G. For the third year, the concert event will be hosted by Enrique Santos, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of iHeartLatino and on-air personality for iHeartRadio.

The 2018 iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina will once again bring the power and unforgettable performances of the iHeartRadio Music Festival to Latin music. The star-studded event will broadcast live on iHeartMedia Spanish-Pop, Tropical, regional Mexican and Spanish Adult Hit radio stations nationwide.

“This year we have an amazing line up and some surprise collaborations that are yet to be announced. Come celebrate our culture through music at our fifth annual iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina,” said Enrique Santos. In the past iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina performers have included Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez, Natalia Jimenez, Carlos Vives, Prince Royce, Luis Fonsi among others.

The iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina is part of iHeartMedia’s roster of incredibly successful, nationally-recognized concert events including the iHeartRadio Music Festival, iHeartRadio Music Awards, the nationwide iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Concert Tour, iHeartRadio Wango Tango by AT&T, the iHeartCountry Festival by AT&T and iHeartRadio ALTer Ego. 

Beginning Monday, October 8, iHeartMedia will launch a three-week nationwide promotion to give thousands of Latin music fans across the country the opportunity to win trips to Miami to experience the 2018 iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina. The promotion will run on all iHeartMedia Spanish-language stations as well as on iHeartRadio and on additional radio stations in key markets across the country.

Telemundo Tampa features its Feria Telemundo 49


Telemundo's Feria 49 returns to Tampa, Florida. An event that adds to the Hispanic month long celebration. It will take place once again at the Florida State Fairground's Expo Hall on Sunday September 30 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. 


This year's artist line up includes local talent Aramis y Sol Caribe and Kike Barrios, from Puerto Rico Oscarito "El más loco," and the return of the Pavarotti of salsa music Tito Nieves. In addition, to music, the day will also include:

  • Free information and services
  • Gifts
  • Latin food
  • An area dedicated to the little ones with shows, contests, face painting and more
  • An interactive area where you can meet and greet the Noticiero Telemundo 49 team, win Telemundo prizes and also become a weather presenter in the "weather booth" along meteorologist Ruben Capote

Entrance is free, but take note the fairground always charges for events held there: parking - $8 per car and $14 per RV or bus.

The fourth annual Latin American Music Awards has announced its nominees. Once again, it will be held at The Dolby Theater in Hollywood, CA on Thursday, Oct. 25.

Carlos Vives returns with Vives Tour USA


Carlos Vives, the two-time Grammy and 11-time Latin Grammy winning Colombian singer/songwriter who pioneered the integration of the indigenous and vallenato sounds of his country into popular music, kicks off  his 2018  tour in the United States in September. In support of his recent album titled Vives, the Vives Tour USA will make its first stop at Amway Center in Orlando, FL and close out at The Forum in Los Angeles, CA.

“I am so thrilled to return to touring in the U.S! I am excited to reunite with my fans, so we can sing my latest hits from Vives together as well as the classics,” said Vives.

With more than 20 million albums sold, Vives’ most recent Latin Grammy came in 2016 - Record of the Year and Song of the Year - for “La Bicicleta,” a collaboration with his compatriot, Shakira. Vives’ latest 18-track album, Vives features, “La Bicicleta,” and his latest hit, “Robarte Un Beso.” The album also includes a children’s song, “Monsieur Bigoté,” featuring Vives’ children, Elena and Pedro, and the Rio Grande Music School chorus. The album explores themes of love, peace and other important issues and Vives hopes to share these messages to encourage people to live their lives to the fullest.

Silvestre Dangond se entrega a sus fans durante su gira Caliente

Nos citamos en Orlando, Florida para celebrar en grande la independencia de Colombia junto el artista Silvestre Dangond. Aunque el mal tiempo retrasó a los fans, al empezar el concierto una hora mas tarde le favoreció a todos.



Silvestre Dangond trajo su gira Caliente USA 2018 por primera vez al Amway Center. A casi un lleno total se lució el cantante junto a sus músicos, y sus talentosos pequeños por casi dos horas. Dangond expresó que podía cantar por muchas horas debido a un sin fin de temas que ha grabado a lo largo de su trayectoria musical.




Quien diría que a lo largo del concierto algunos presentes se llevarían consigo unos gratos recuerdos. Durante la interpretación de "Cásate Conmigo", una pareja agraciada se comprometieron. Hubo mucha interacción de parte de Dangond con sus fans, dando autografías y hasta se lanzó del escenario donde compartió un bailecito con la dichosa puertorriqueña de Tampa, Nilda Santoni. Esta se encontraba acompañada de su hija gozando a todo dar. Pero la suerte de ambas no termino ahí. Hasta conversaron con el artista y se tomaron una foto para el recuerdo.

'Premios Juventud' 2018 rehearsing for a 'musical experience' (photos)

With only days away from the musical extravaganza of the summer, “Premios Juventud” (PJ 2018), a few artists were already rehearsing today in Miami, FL. The first artists to hit the PJ stage were Gente de Zona, Zion & Lennox, Johann Vera, and Carlos Rivera.

In addition, this year's hosts also took their turns to rehearse their parts. The actors and influencers Manolo Gonzalez Vergara and Marielena Davila alongside Univision’s TV personalities Borja Voces and Daniela Di Giacomo will be hosting the four-hour celebration.

As a further commitment to bringing generations together on a family night, PJ 2018 steps out of the ordinary and for the first time will be transmitted on a Sunday night, this July 22 starting at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT live from the Watsco Center in Miami, FL.

'Premios Juventud' presents a different twist for 2018


Premios Juventud” (PJ 2018) will break new ground this year as it celebrates Generation Z and youth culture with an unprecedented lineup of performers who span genres and showcases young leaders who are agents of change in their communities. The telecast will move from its customary Thursday schedule to air live from Watsco Center in Miami, Florida on Sunday, July 22 from 7 to 11 p.m. ET on the Univision Network. PJ 2018 will include a one-hour pre-show featuring more exclusive content and artist interviews than ever before.

The concert-style production with multiple stages will bring fans closer to performances by Sofia Reyes, Jason Derulo and De La Ghetto singing together for the first time in the U.S., Ozuna, Carlos Rivera, CNCO, Johann Vera, Jacob Forever, Kany Garcia and Zion y Lennox; among many others to be announced soon.

“PJ 2018 is all about the fans, about Generation Z this year,” said Jorge “Pepo” Ferradas, President of Music, Univision Communications Inc. “It will be a multi-generational, highly energized and impassioned night of live TV combined with all-night digital and social content that will bring viewers and fans unique backstage experiences and conversations about the topics that matter most to them.”
