What an epic kick off to the 2023 Recording Academy "Grammy Awards." The Latinos celebrated big during the annual awards representing in nominations, performances, and as presenters.
The opening number for the "Grammy Awards" was in the hands of the renown Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny who was up for three nominations. Earlier in the day, the Colombian Carlos Vives performed at the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony where five of the six Latin award categories were awarded.

The last Latin award show for 2020, "Latin Grammy Awards," has it's first artists to perform Thursday, Nov. 19. This year, the award show hosted by Carlos Rivera and Roselyn Sánchez, will be filmed in Miami, Florida and televised Thursday, Nov. 19.
Thus far in the line up are Bad Bunny, Pedro Capó, Alejandro Fernández, Karol G, Kany García, Los Tigres del Norte, Christian Nodal, Nathy Peluso and Fito Páez. Marc Anthony, the Latin Recording Academy's 2016 Person Of The Year, will also perform.
With the theme Music Makes Us Human, the reimagined telecast will be anchored from Miami, featuring artist performances from multiple cities around the world. The show will be a celebration of musical excellence and the power of music to bring us together, through diverse stories of hope, community and a renewed sense of purpose.
Due to the challenges imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the 21st annual "Latin Grammy Awards" will not have a live audience or a red carpet. The Latin Recording Academy, Univision and its production teams will adhere to strictest safety guidelines and protocols.
The award show will air on Univision on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. CT). The broadcast will also air on TNT (cable) at 19.00 (MEX)/20.00 (COL)/22.00 (ARG/CHI), and on Televisa Channel 5.

The Latin Recording Academy has its 2019 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year. This year the honors is for Juanes. The Colombian renowned singer, composer, musician, and philanthropist is no stranger to the Grammys. He holds 23 Latin Grammy Awards and two Grammys. Juanes will be honored for his creative artistry, unprecedented humanitarian efforts, support for rising artists, and philanthropic contributions to the world. Through his songs, international performances, and work with his organization Fundación Mi Sangre (My Blood Foundation), and as co-founder of Paz Sin Fronteras (Peace Without Borders), Juanes continues to raise awareness for the power and importance of peace building with extraordinary credibility and consistency.

This
Thursday, November 16 is the anticipated 18th annual "Latin Grammy Awards", the
preeminent honor for excellence in Latin music and the only peer-presented
Latin music accolade. The nominees include a diverse group of established
artists and newcomers. Leading the list are Residente with nine nominations,
Maluma with seven, Shakira with six, and Kevin Jiménez ADG, Juanes, and Mon
Laferte with five each. The winners will be revealed during the live telecast on
the Univision Network starting at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) directly from the MGM
Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
In
addition to the top nominees, several artists and technical professionals
received four nominations each: Rafa Arcaute (producer and engineer), Tom Coyne
(engineer), Luis Fonsi, Vicente García, Nicky Jam, Natalia Lafourcade, Danay
Suarez, and Daddy Yankee.
There are
a total of 48 categories that feature an array of musical genres, as well as
some of the most prominent names and brightest newcomers in Latin music. Let’s
