Este pasado miercoles 16 de noviembre La Academia Latina de la Grabación honró a la Persona del Año 2022 Marco Antonio Solís durante una gala. En este evento hubo conmovedoras interpretaciones de algunas canciones del conocido repertorio de Solís por los siguientes artistas: Bronco, Camila, Elsa y Elmar, Gente De Zona, Jesse & Joy, Los Bukis, Mariachi Sol de México de José Hernández, Carla Morrison, Edén Muñoz, Christian Nodal, Fito Páez, Laura Pausini, Romeo Santos, Sin Bandera, Marla Solís, Taboo de Black Eyed Peas, Ana Torroja y Sebastián Yatra.
Marco Antonio Solís, ganador de cinco Latín Grammys y nominado a seis Grammys, fue reconocido por su trayectoria de más de cuatro décadas como compositor, arreglista, productor, músico, director artístico e intérprete multifacético, además de ser uno de los artistas mexicanos más exitosos de todos los tiempos.
La gala y el concierto estelar de homenaje, para el que se agotaron las entradas, tuvo lugar en el Mandalay Bay Convention Center en Las Vegas, con una variedad de artistas y géneros. Solís sorprendió a los invitados al iniciar el espectáculo con una mezcla de sus más grandes éxitos, entre ellos “¿A dónde vamos a parar?”, “La venia bendita” y “Tu cárcel”, acompañado por Los Bukis.
Live Nation patrocinó por primera vez la presentación, un homenaje a Solís, que es su cliente desde hace mucho tiempo. Promovió las más recientes giras de Solís y Los Bukis por Estados Unidos, Europa y Latinoamérica como parte de sus esfuerzos continuos por llevar la música latina a escenarios en todo el mundo.

The 2022 “Latin Grammy Awards” nominations have been revealed. The Latin music award event will be held at the Michelob Ultra Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on Thursday, November 17.
Leading the 23rd “Latin Grammy” nominations is Bad Bunny with 10 nominees followed by Edgar Barrera with nine, Rauw Alejandro and Rosalía with eight, and Camilo with six.

The last Latin award show for 2020, "Latin Grammy Awards," has it's first artists to perform Thursday, Nov. 19. This year, the award show hosted by Carlos Rivera and Roselyn Sánchez, will be filmed in Miami, Florida and televised Thursday, Nov. 19.
Thus far in the line up are Bad Bunny, Pedro Capó, Alejandro Fernández, Karol G, Kany García, Los Tigres del Norte, Christian Nodal, Nathy Peluso and Fito Páez. Marc Anthony, the Latin Recording Academy's 2016 Person Of The Year, will also perform.
With the theme Music Makes Us Human, the reimagined telecast will be anchored from Miami, featuring artist performances from multiple cities around the world. The show will be a celebration of musical excellence and the power of music to bring us together, through diverse stories of hope, community and a renewed sense of purpose.
Due to the challenges imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the 21st annual "Latin Grammy Awards" will not have a live audience or a red carpet. The Latin Recording Academy, Univision and its production teams will adhere to strictest safety guidelines and protocols.
The award show will air on Univision on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. CT). The broadcast will also air on TNT (cable) at 19.00 (MEX)/20.00 (COL)/22.00 (ARG/CHI), and on Televisa Channel 5.

The Latin Recording Academy will feature its 21st Annual "Latin Grammy Awards" on Univision Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. CT), preceded by the one-hour pre-show, "Noche de Estrellas," starting at 7 p.m. ET/PT.
This year's theme, Music Makes us Human, the re-imagined telecast will be based from Miami with uplifting performances from multiple cities around the world. With the goal of showcasing musical excellence and the power of music, the show will embody the essence of people with diverse stories of hope, community, sense of purpose, and celebration.
"This year's show is a result of great music, carefully curated by almost 4,000 members, skilled staff and everyone's commitment to the Latin Grammy Awards' process," said Gabriel Abaroa Jr., President/CEO of The Latin Recording Academy. "The evening will honor musical excellence and the power of music — an art form that allows us to show solidarity, compassion and hope, transcending language, cultural barriers and the current global challenges. We are proud to honor the work of artists who have continued to bring us excellence through their craft and joy in times of despair."
Preceding the telecast, the Latin Grammy Premiere ceremony will be held virtually from Miami, where the majority of the 21st Annual "Latin Grammy Awards" categories will be awarded. Additional details about this long-established afternoon full of unforgettable performances, heartfelt acceptance speeches and Latin Grammy Moments will be announced at a later date.
Given the challenges imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, The Latin Academy, Univision and production teams will adhere strictly to safety guidelines and protocols. If local conditions are favorable in November, The Latin Academy will consider hosting a live audience telecast composed primarily of nominees, presenters and performers.
Este jueves pasado se hizo historia en los Premios Latin Grammy desde Las Vegas y para mi fue uno de los mejores momentos. El momento más épico que muchos recordaran en la historia de la música latina y mexicana. Tres generaciones se lucieron en el vigésimo Latin Grammys, los Fernández cantando juntos - Alex Fernández, Vicente Fernández y Alejandro Fernández. Y luego Ricky Martin tuvo el honor de entregarle a Don Vicente Fernández el Premio de la Presidencia.

This past Thursday history was made at the Latin Grammy Awards held in Las Vegas and for me it was one of the best moments of the evening. The most epic moment that many will remember in the history of Latin amd Mexican music. Three generations that showed off at the 20th Latin Grammys, the Fernandez' performing together - Alex Fernandez, Vicente Fernandez and Alejandro Fernandez. And after, Ricky Martin had the honors to present Mr. Vicente Fernandez the Presidential Award.
