Jennifer Lopez releases next music video 'Amor Amor Amor' featuring Wisin

Jennifer Lopez wasted no time in sharing her latest music video for her newest single “Amor Amor Amor” featuring Wisin. Since it’s release, the video has garnered over 10 million views and the single has positioned itself as the top digital song in Spain and Latin America.

“Amor, Amor, Amor” stands out as the second anthem to be unveiled from Jennifer Lopez forthcoming Spanish language album that will be out very soon via Sony Music Latin. Keeping up a tradition that includes hits such as “Follow The Leader” and “Adrenalina,” this marks her third collaboration with urban superstar Wisin as their chemistry continues to prove nothing short of magical.

The upbeat, energetic, and downright sexy “Amor, Amor, Amor” highlights Lopez immense voice and inspiring swagger. For the video, Lopez and Wisin took over the Bowery Station at the New York Subway and practically shook the city in the process. It’s another blockbuster visual from the superstar that the world is bound to love.

“Amor, Amor, Amor” arrives hot on the heels of the summer smash “Ni Tú Ni Yo”. Upon premiering, the music video trended #1 on VEVO, became the #1 video by a female artist worldwide, soared to #2 on digital music stores, and generated over 6 million views in just two days with 64 million to date. It’s consistently held a spot in the Top of 5 in the Latino Songs Chart of digital music stores and peaked at #5 on Spotify's Global Viral 50 with 43 million streams and still counting. Lopez and Gente de Zona performed it for the first time on television at the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular on NBC.

Who are the 2017 Latin Grammy Awards' nominees?

This Thursday, November 16 is the anticipated 18th annual "Latin Grammy Awards", the preeminent honor for excellence in Latin music and the only peer-presented Latin music accolade. The nominees include a diverse group of established artists and newcomers. Leading the list are Residente with nine nominations, Maluma with seven, Shakira with six, and Kevin Jiménez ADG, Juanes, and Mon Laferte with five each. The winners will be revealed during the live telecast on the Univision Network starting at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) directly from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

In addition to the top nominees, several artists and technical professionals received four nominations each: Rafa Arcaute (producer and engineer), Tom Coyne (engineer), Luis Fonsi, Vicente García, Nicky Jam, Natalia Lafourcade, Danay Suarez, and Daddy Yankee.

There are a total of 48 categories that feature an array of musical genres, as well as some of the most prominent names and brightest newcomers in Latin music. The biggest night in Latin music, the “Latin Grammy Awards,” will air live on the Univision Network this Thursday, Nov. 16 starting at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central) from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Let’s see who is scheduled to perform this year.

Three spectacular Latin concerts at Amway Center to finish off 2017

As 2017 comes to a close, there are still three great Latin concerts to enjoy at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. In November, they are Becky G, Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull; and Marc Anthony. Closing out the Latin concerts at Amway in December are Wisin and Ozuna.

The Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull Live! with special guest Becky G tour was rescheduled from September 29 to Tuesday, November 14 due to Hurricane Irma recovery. The evening concert featuring Latin and American pop, rap, and a ballad or two is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets holders with prior scheduled concert tickets will be able to use their tickets for the new performance. Tickets start at $26 and run as much as $262 (verified resale tickets); they can be purchased online here.

Bringing an evening of salsa music with maybe a ballad or two in between is Marc Anthony and his band Sunday, November 19 starting at 7 p.m. Tickets range from $61 to $1,018 (verified resale tickets); they can be purchased here.

And last but not least are Wisin and Ozuna who bring their urban talent to Amway Center Thursday, December 14. The concert is set for 8 p.m. with tickets starting at $50 to $255. Tickets are available for purchase here.

Ricky Martin a big winner at iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina

It was a special evening for the Puerto Rican superstar Ricky Martin during the fourth iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina: Celebrating Our Heroes held this past Saturday, Nov. 4 in Miami, Florida. Martin who kicked off the four hour long Latin fiesta was honored with the iHeartRadio Premio Corazón Latino Award - the special award honors an individual that exemplifies their big heart through their selfless work in enhancing the lives, heritage and future of the Latin community. 

Ricky Martin received the award for his support following Hurricane Maria and his constant work throughout the years with human trafficking and The Ricky Martin Foundation. But just before the heart shaped award was presented to Martin by Enrique Santos, he gave an phenomenal performance featuring a spectacular mix of his most recent hits - "Mordidita," "Gracias Por Pensar En Mi," and "Vente Pa Ca."

 After Martin graciously accepted the award, he stated "I've been working for a long time fighting human trafficking, but obviously, I am focused on what I need to be focused on today, which is Puerto Rico, which is my people, which is ... we were hit, and we were hit really, really bad. And ladies and gentlemen, I have to thank you, because if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be able to do what I did. And everyone here and around the world has given me $5 here, $10 there, and with the money you've given me, I've been able to bring food to Puerto Rico, water, medicine, and anything that is needed nowadays.This is a long commitment. This is only the beginning."

Congrats Ricky Martin and thank you for your humanitarian heart!

Singers take a few minutes for iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina 2017 red carpet

The fourth annual iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina: Celebrating Our Heroes, celebrated the best in Latin music this past Saturday, November 4 at the AmericanAirlines Arena in downtown Miami, Florida. This year's Fiesta Latina in addition to an evening full of star-studded performances, paid special tribute to first responders and communities that have been impacted by natural disasters.

Just before the biggest Latin fiesta kicked off, a few artists took the red carpet for photos and interviews. Take a look at a few select photos below.

Gente de Zona and Sofia Reyes headliners for Pandora’s Noche De Música

Latin music fans are invited to the third annual Pandora’s Noche De Música concert that will entail a headline performance by the Cuban breakout reggaeton superstars Gente De Zona and opening act by Mexican pop star Sofia Reyes. The free event will be held Wednesday, November 15 at the Hakkasan Nightclub in Las Vegas starting at 7 p.m.

  

Gente De Zona began their rise to fame with their breakout song “Bailando” in 2014, a collaboration featuring Enrique Iglesias and Descemer Bueno. In 2015, Gente De Zona released consecutive hit songs with the critically acclaimed tracks “La Gozadera” and “Traidora,” both in collaboration with renowned salsa artist Marc Anthony. The group has amassed a huge following on Pandora with their songs being streamed 262 million times and the artist station being added one million times since inception.

This past March, Mexican pop star Sofia Reyes performed on Pandora’s SXSW stage and returns to Pandora audiences with a highly anticipated show at the annual Noche De Música concert. Sofia Reyes is a rising star in Latin music securing multiple award nominations and has shown a significant gain in listenership with an increase of 547% in 2017.

The November event marks the third year of the Noche De Música concert that has featured previous performances by chart-topping artists like Farruko, Wisin, Sebastian Yatra and Cali & El Dandee.
